The Kikkuyu Tribe creates exquisite beads - hand formed from indigenous
clay and hand painted by the women of the Kenyan
Women's Project. American missionaries working in
the region encouraged village women to revive this
ancient recipe for bead making. The beads are now
available in locations around the world. The Kenyan
women have been able to reap the financial rewards
from their work. What a wonderful project to support!
